DuPage AMEC Girl Scout Program
The DuPage AMEC Girl Scout program offers age-appropriate activities for girls from Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
Girl Scouts of the USA is committed to helping today's girls become tomorrow's leaders. For over 100 years, the Girl Scout program has delivered quality experiences for girls locally, nationally, and internationally.
The Girl Scout program is girl-driven, reflecting the ever-changing needs and interests of participating girls. It provides girls with a wide variety of opportunities.
The program encourages increased skill building and responsibility, and also promotes the development of strong leadership and decision-making skills. All program activities are age-appropriate and based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

Ambassador Troop 357's Last Year as Girl Scouts
Troop 169 Learns by Growing a Vegetable Garden!
Tomatoes and Carrots and Lettuce, Oh My! Troop 169 shared their harvest at this year's Opening Ceremony.
2nd Daddy-Daughter Top Chef Contest!
Troops 169, 211, 25 & 429 and their fathers and uncles participated in the second Top Chef Contest at Camp Greenwood. Indoor and Outdoor Cooking skills with mystery baskets of ingredients were judged. Fun was had by all!
Troop 1221 Earns the Outdoor First Aid Badge!
Ambassador Troop 1221 went camping at Blackwell Forest Preserve where they went out on rowboats and completed the Ambassador First Aid badge with the assistance of Park Ranger Patrick Weber.
Troop 25 Goes on First Campout!
Brownie Troop 25 went camping, canoeing and hiking at Blackwell Forest Preserve under the supervision and guidance of their "big sisters" Ambassador Troop 1221. They learned about water safety and careers in the forest preserves from park rangers. They earned their Girl Scout Way, Hiker, Outdoor Art and Cabin Camper badges. 2019 Gold Award Recipients!
The Gold Award is the highest award that a Girl Scout can achieve. Less than 4% of all Girl Scouts earn this honor. On May 18, 2019, the DuPage AMEC Girl Scouts program had 5 girls receive this honor at the annual Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana Council Gold Award Ceremony.
